Nestled in the rolling hills of Sussex, we’ve found both a home and a deep well of inspiration for our work in jewellery making and silversmithing. The gentle hues and pastel colours of the immediate countryside, the changing light across the Downs, and the quiet details of nature all influence the silver jewellery we create each day in our studio.

For us, silver jewellery is more than adornment — it’s a story, a connection, a memory forged in metal. Each piece we design is rooted in the inspiration we find around us: the contours of the landscape, the shimmer of dew on early morning grass, or the texture you find on ancient stones.

We are lucky to have lived in Cornwall for eight years, and now again in East Sussex, where we are from. We have settled down in Lewes, with the natural beauty of the South Downs on our doorstep. In both Cornwall and here in Sussex, we've often found ourselves strolling somewhere across the countryside, and its these walks that feed our creativity.

Working with silver is an ancient and tactile process. From forming and filing to hammering and polishing, there's a physicality to the craft that allows a creative flow, which manifests into a finished piece.

Our silver jewellery often incorporates organic shapes and textures, with many pieces hand-formed to mirror natural elements. Whether little silver and gold barnacles clinging to a ring, or earrings textured to resemble the patterns along a rugged coastline, each item is crafted with the aim of bringing a little of the outside world into everyday wear.

There’s something special about creating silver jewellery by hand, knowing it may go on to become a treasured heirloom, a gift between loved ones, or a personal talisman. And I think that’s the magic of being a silversmith — not just the making, but the meaning.

As we continue our journey as silversmiths here in Sussex, we remain constantly inspired by the the places we have called home. Our journey all feeds into the silver jewellery we create, piece by piece, day by day.
