A recent commission for a lovely customer of ours.

Ruby and garnet gemstones set amongst a cluster of barnacles on white gold.

It's always nice working closely with someone on a special piece, and this was no exception. I really love how it came together. We're thinking of making a few more like this for the website with different stones set amongst the barnacles. Keep an eye out!

To be honest, I've been feeling kinda weird about turning 40 - it feels like a big number!

I'm feeling incredibly grateful for the life I have and the happiness and good health I find myself in, knowing how lucky I am to have many wonderful friends and loved ones in my life.

Something that has been brewing the past year...

For a while, Ben has been playing around with reticulated and fused silver. Exploring the abstract shapes, contours and textures that come from these methods of silversmithing.

Helped along with the use of old hammers and tools, these pieces have taken on a life of their own, often manifesting a wonderful, abstracted landscape and texture.

Having sold a couple at a recent fair, we thought it was about time to get some of these creations on our website.

One of our final makes before we had some time off over Christmas.

A friend had their mum's wedding ring tucked away in a box, wondering how they might repurpose it into a piece of jewellery they could wear.

We incorporated the ring into our Men an Tol necklace design, enabling this beautiful 18ct gold wedding band to take center stage. We added some texture using Cornish granite and reshaped it.

We love how it turned out and more importantly so did the special lady who commissioned the piece!
